  1. He is a treasure and we should have a statue of him and not George Floyd. I could listen to him all day and being a truck driver I try to do just that. Unfortunately we live in a time wear fundamental truths are ignored in favor of lies.
I know you may never see this but I want to say thank you Mr. Thomas Sowell for always speaking truth and I pray to become half as wise as you.

  2. Lawsuits brought by government agencies need to carry heavy penalties on the agency if the charges are not proven. Rule by agencies is a widespread form of tyranny in these United States. People who experience the heady feeling of power over another are allowed to ruin lives and livelihoods over baseless charges ranging from employment practices to environmental practices.

  3. I wonder why we categorize the current elitist agenda as ‘mainstream?’ This relatively small group of individuals has lost touch with what most of us are thinking and doing?

  4. I would love to see a debate between Thomas Sowell versus the team of race-baiters Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Angela Rye, Stacey Abrams, Maxine Waters. I know it's a little unfair and lopsided, but I'm sure that between the five of them at least one intelligent argument might possibly emerge.

  5. Having awakened this am to a handful of news stories, all showing the extreme loss/perversion of our national ethos, dispondency has overtaken me.

As I listen to the empirical logic of Dr Sowell, consider all he has written in his life, his advanced age, I am profoundly dismayed to think that he should know how the world has broken and strayed from any sound reason, common decency among the people, or judicious governance.

I hope he has traded his tv and papers for a rocker in his garden, a purring cat in his lap, and Miles Davis in his ear.

Thank Dr Sowell, for enriching my life.

  6. "A general dissolution of principles and manners will more surely overthrow the liberties of America than the whole force of the common enemy; while the people are virtuous they cannot be subdued, but when once they lose their virtue then will be ready to surrender their liberties to the first external or internal invader."

"A man of peace is not a pacifist, a man of peace
is simply a pool of silence. He is not against war, because to be against anything is to be at war. He simply understands why war exists. And out of that understanding he becomes peaceful. Only when there are many people who are pools of peace, silence, and understanding, will the war disappear.'

  8. If I ever run for President & win, Thomas Sowell's works will be REQUIRED learning/reading for all ages in ALL taxpayer funded schools AND taxpayer funded JOBS, such as ALL fed govt agency employees & especially before any Judicial/Court appointment by any party. Should also be REQUIRED for all senators & representatives!! Doing this could also double as a sort of I.Q. test, or at the very least a kind of intellectual honesty test. If you know that they have heard the same info as you, but they keep pushing the narrative, then you know something about the true charactet of that dem… I mean person.

  9. Wow!!! Super interesting! The first thing I'm getting from this is that reading and comprehension are fundamental!!! When I worked in healthcare early 2000s we were writing material for average reading of 6-7th grade (for adults!).
