Thank you Dr Peterson (& team) for hosting me to discuss the neuroscience of dopamine regulation, habit and rule setting, decision making & more. Grateful for your many insights and questions!
1:26:46 Oppositional Defiant Disorder ODD from the DSM-5. how does it play out in this format? 🙂
The Canadian is being much more concise. Be concise. He is of the North.
This maybe big man likes to talk. I've always liked the pushy and capable North American, but please keep it brief.
Dr. Peterson didn't realize his interview with Dr. Huberman was on the same day as his Captain Von Trapp tryouts.
This is one awesome podcast!
This is absolutely fascinating!!
One of the most fascinating discussions I've ever heard. And the information is so applicable to life in general. Now I'm anticipating a second discussion. Please don't let me down because we all know how that will turn out…
Hardware meets Software
Awesome one of the best, if not the best podcast episodes on neuropsychology and psychology I have ever heard. Please make more!!! Especially the frequent switch between theory’s and science based knowledge, abstractions and practical story’s from both of you makes a bloody perfect mix to really understand and learn. AGAIN PLEASE MAKE A PART 2 or even a colab podcast !!!!
The suit is sweet but if the dark color on the rim was the light one on the tie it would be finest finesse.
Thank you so much much ❤️💖💃
Most not all drugs offers physical rewards resulting in emotional suffering
Its all about perception.
Excellent interview Jordan
What's fascinating to me is that I understood and could keep up with this entire discussion. We'll attribute this to the speakers level of knowledge and eloquence.
This was like mysterious cheat code for life
Doctors, I found the section on depressive cascades to be incredible applicable and useful. Can you reccommend tactics for escaping such cascades?
Haven't listened to this yet, but I know it will be great. These are my two favorite podcasters.
Im glad to see these two come together.
Will someone in your area of expertise please talk about sleep Apnea. I am a healthy man who is now cpap dependent. My health grew horrible up until I was treated for sleep Apnea. I am very interested in this topic for obvious reasons. I know a lot of people with this concern also sleep paralysis
Bro Peterson’s questions are crazy. I can’t tell if he’s just very well educated on neurology and neurobiology, or at least educated enough to have higher level conversations with a true neurobiologist… or if I’m just a retard, unable to come up with and ask the same question.
I m writing this comment prior of seeing the video but I m sure this one is going to be a fucking masterpiece of a podcast.
As an Igorot farmer I learned more about this channel than the school i dropped out from…i cleaned my makeshift home and starting for stability.THANK YOU
This lecture is the greatest gift to me – it’s gunna help me heal from mental health naturally – this is my favorite lecture ever
0:01 Did he say adrenaline is the basis of all energy in the brain or did he mean dopamine? cant exactly tell from how he says it.
Great discussion.
Lol.. thanks Dr. Peterson.. most complicated description of regression ever!! 💜
Thank you for the contribution to the world! 🙏
Call me crazy, but while they were talking about the death of the possible manifestation of a future self, and all that related to the neuronal formations, a nexus as memory, and then the death and birth of new neurons; suddenly, I thought of sperm's journey to the eggs.
24:20 I want to try this out in CSGO now
Juden Peterstein! How dare you preach to tell the truth and then sum up kosher criticism to jealousy? Who were the marxists in Russia? The Bolsheviks? Who created holodomor? How much silver did they pay you Judas?
31:04
Who knew Id get video game advice from a mental health expert
Can we get a part 2, 3 and 4? This was so good!
Hello, Dr. Peterson. I have a suggestion.
HUBERMAN/PETERSON series on Daily Wire+
I appreciate you and proud of you. 😎
What a interesting and mind opening conversation.
Sometimes when I hear Dr. P say "…directly related to the magnitude of the goal," it makes me think that my goals are not big enough.
I doubt he is seeking that outcome, just sharing a little of my inner demon.
