Oscar Wilde is interesting because he is a very influential writer from the Victorian era, in addition, his ideas were very unique and different from others during that era, such as his play about a woman who poses as a man in order to help her boyfriend, furthermore, he was very progressive for his time.

He was also interesting because he was a genius in my opinion but also because he wrote books about his own life Unfortunately, I haven’t read of his books yet. He had a very fascinating life and it was a tragic one too, he ended up being prosecuted for homosexuality which was illegal at the time and he spent two years in jail which ultimately ruined his career. I watched a few documentaries about him.
